Canon Law, simply put, is the entirety of legal practice relating to the Church environment. This book contains the rules set in place by church authorities. This text includes a table of contents on the first thirteen folios, though with two leaves missing.
Although it was written centuries after the end of the Byzantine Empire, it contains characteristics of Byzantine manuscript culture that points to Byzantium’s continuing relevance in later times.
